Ajax Hub2
The Ajax Hub 2 manages all Ajax devices installed within your property allowing users to receive alerts to intruders on the premises as they arrive, doors being opened, broken windows, early warning of a fire or flooding or your children arriving safely home from school. The Ajax Hub 2 runs on a real-time operating system called OS Malevich, a software that is immune to cyber attacks, hacking and viruses.
The Ajax Hub2 uses unique encrypted radio protocols called Jeweller and Wings to wirelessly connect to detectors, cameras, doorbells and a combination of ethernet, cellular and cloud services to provide secure transmission of system status, alerts and events to users and an Alarm Receiving Centre or guarding company if needed. The Hub 2 will continue to work for up to 16 hours during a power failure and continue to report system events using built-in cellular technology.
Intrusion Protection
The Ajax intrusion detection devices consist of door contacts, glass breaking sensors, tilt and shock sensors, motion detectors, motion detectors with built-in photo-on-demand cameras and perimeter protection. These devices connect to the Ajax hub which provides alerts and alarms when triggered or integration where devices are interlinked with each other (see Integration). When an alarm or detection device is activated, a mixture of internal and external sounders are triggered and notifications sent to users with the free to use mobile device app.
Video Surveillance
Ajax cameras offer AI-powered object recognition for efficient event recording and storage. Users can configure recording based on their needs, from continuous to triggered by motion or AI detection. Optimise your video archive with intelligent motion detection. Movement tracking can be configured within specific zones at the pixel level, ensuring that only relevant activity is recorded when movement occurs in the selected area. The strict event filtering helps save storage space and streamlines archive navigation.
Both users and security personnel can easily monitor your property via a smartphone or desktop app, receiving instant notifications when movement is detected with no specialised security training being required.
Browsing the video archive is simple, just click on an event in the notification log to jump straight to the relevant recording. You can filter recordings by date or event type, such as motion detection, scenario, or an AI-recognised object. Everything is just one click away with the advanced features.
Ajax video surveillance is effective on its own and becomes even more capable when integrated with other Ajax solutions. Cameras can activate light and sound deterrence, provide instant HD visual verification of alarms, and even perform the role of motion detectors. All devices operate as a unified system, are managed through a single app, and respond automatically to events.
A main user can determine who has access to view the cameras, so that only a particular user can see those that they have permission to. When interlinked with intrusion devices, any or all cameras can be set to only record footage when the system is armed, allowing cameras in sensitive locations such as a bedroom to only activate when the property is unoccupied.
Life Safety and Protection
An early warning of fire can prevent severe damage to your property, the Fire Protect devices from Ajax provide options for smoke, heat and carbon monoxide (Co2) detection which can link together to provide a standalone fire protection system or connect with the Hub 2 to allow remote alerts and integration with other technologies.
A flood detector is also available to provide an early warning of water entering the protected area, this can be interconnected with the Hub 2 to enable water valves to shut off the water supply and trigger alerts and alarms as required.
Integration for a Total Security Solution
All Ajax devices when connected to the Hub 2, can operate with each other to create scenarios that enable seamless automation. For example, a smoke detector operating in the dining room can trigger photo verification from a close by camera or photo-on-demand detector and send the image with an alert to the smoke detection event. This enables you as a user or an alarm receiving centre to quickly verify if the status of the scene and action emergency services and key holders as necessary.
External and internal motion detectors can trigger alarms or alerts where required but these devices can also trigger relays to turn on outdoor or hallway lighting providing with you with additional comfort as you return home.
